Material Handler Mt. Vernon, OH Compensation includes a starting pay rate of $22.06 - 24.51/hour. Available shifts: 2nd: 3pm - 11pm Monday - Friday Overview: The primary job function of a material handler is to move, store, and manage materials efficiently and safely within the facility to support production, storage, and distribution operations. Responsibilities: Responsible for the receipt of all finished products Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and/or pallet movers Support the materials handling process for production related materials Daily monitor all lines, anticipate, and supply each line with all materials (including raw materials, boxes, poly bags, pallets, etc.) that will be needed throughout the shift Interact with machine operators on a daily basis in order to be able to anticipate any needs that they may have Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse Develop, revise, and review documentation for all materials related activities Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable Unload, load trucks, or stage trucks as necessary, or directed by the supervisor Examines finished pallets before pickup and distributes materials Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Eligible to work in the United States Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen Work overtime as required Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop Company benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
