Description
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Director of Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our marketing efforts, driving customer engagement, and elevating our brand in the competitive market. We're seeking a strategic and innovative thinker with a passion for the automotive industry and a track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

Haselwood consists of eight local dealerships and 13 manufacturers that provide our community with a wide array of new and used vehicles.
We are located in Bremerton, WA on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula across the Puget Sound from the City of Seattle. Kitsap is surrounded by 235 miles of saltwater shoreline and centrally located between the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges affording spectacular views of mountains and water from nearly every vantage point.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners and influencers to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and digital marketing trends to stay ahead of the competition.
Utilize data and analytics to measure the success of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions for future campaigns.
Continuously monitor and analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform future marketing strategies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to continuously enhance and adapt marketing strategies.
Lead the marketing team in creating and executing effective campaigns and initiatives that drive customer engagement and increase sales.
Lead and mentor the marketing team, setting goals and providing guidance to drive their professional development.
Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Oversee the creation and production of marketing materials, including digital and print advertisements, social media content, and email campaigns.
Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short- and long-range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of dealership products and/or services.
Communicates with outside advertising agencies regarding ongoing campaigns.
Works with writers and artists; oversees copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials.
Creates and prepares all print advertising, radio and TV commercials, billboards, direct mail pieces, in-store point-of- purchase merchandising aids, interior and exterior signs, off-site displays, news releases, and stories.
Works with the President/GM to develop upcoming ad campaigns.
Attends pertinent marketing/sales promotion meetings conducted by the manufacturer and dealer associations.
Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance.
Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and to minimize the effects of competitive activity.
Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, media placement, and merchandising.
Prepares marketing and other reports and presents them to dealership management.
Develops surveys and other marketing tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in Marketing or a closely related field.
Functional Expert with the ability to troubleshoot, bridge gaps, identify trends, and find consensus.
Knowledge of the automotive industry, OEM guidelines, automotive marketing platforms, and CRM lead segmentation experience preferred.
Experience building and maintaining strategic relationships, online and off.
Experience with an in-depth knowledge/understanding of a wide variety of marketing areas including digital marketing, video production, graphic design, e-commerce, marketing analytics and strategies.
Experience with in-depth marketing campaigns and strategies.
Experience with people development, performance management, hiring, training, coaching and mentoring team members.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening), able to convert ideas and concerns clearly and persuasively.
The ability to translate business goals and metrics into business process outcomes.
Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver’s license for more than 3 years.
In accordance with RCW 49.44.240 this position is identified as Safety Sensitive and is subject to pre-employment drug screening including cannabis.
Salary Range $150,000 - $200,000 annually
