Position Summary
The Director of Marketing plays a strategic leadership role in shaping and executing the company’s marketing vision. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, community engagement, and sales growth. The Director oversees all digital and traditional marketing initiatives, manages the division’s marketing budget, and collaborates cross-functionally to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement data-driven marketing plans tailored to market conditions and community needs.
Monitor division goals, sales velocity, and marketing KPIs to adjust strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Advise the Division President and Sales Team on marketing and advertising initiatives.
Represent the division in corporate marketing meetings, reporting on progress and recommending strategic adjustments.
Campaign Management & Analytics
Lead the execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
Analyze traffic, inventory, and sales data to optimize marketing effectiveness.
Present weekly and monthly reports on web, social media, and community traffic analytics.
Evaluate and report on the success of marketing activities against sales goals.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Train and mentor new sales team members in marketing techniques and brand standards.
Lead the launch of model homes and community openings across the division.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure marketing materials and messaging are consistent and up to date.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
Create and manage the division’s marketing budget, present monthly updates to leadership.
Evaluate and recommend sponsorships and partnership opportunities.
Ensure all marketing collateral is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in real estate or homebuilding
Proven ability to lead marketing strategy and execution across digital and traditional channels
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM platforms, and social media management
Work Environment & Compensation
Full-time, salaried position with eligibility for performance-based bonuses
Compensation commensurate with experience and strategic scope of role

Physical Requirements

Travel: Occasional travel to model homes, community sites, and corporate meetings

Office Setting: Primarily based in a professional office environment with occasional visits to community sites
Technology Use: Daily use of marketing platforms, analytics tools, and standard office software
Team Interaction: Regular collaboration with sales, design, and executive teams; requires strong interpersonal communication
Schedule: Full-time exempt position; standard business hours with occasional extended hours for events or campaign launches
