MARKETING DIRECTOR Reports to : Director of Sales and Business Development Classification: Exempt Position Summary The Marketing Director will represent Fox Ridge in a professional manner in connection with the planning, preparation and selling of Fox Ridge services. They are also responsible for building outside relationships with potential residents and family members and referral sources in the surrounding communities. Essential Job Duties Evaluate the number of leads necessary to generate the needed number of new admissions necessary from month to month and execute an effective marketing strategy to either achieve or maintain full occupancy. Provide tours for potential residents and families. Educate potential residents and families on available payer sources such as VA benefits, long term care insurance, respite care allowance programs, private pay, etc. Explain the Fox Ridge fee structure to prospects. Educate prospects on what Fox Ridge does and how we are completely different from the other communities out there. Explain all amenities and clearly articulate the benefit in everything our community provides. Increasing occupancy and meeting monthly sales targets, as determined by the Director of Sales and Business Development and exceeding the Community’s budgeted occupancy and revenue goals. Set all nurse assessment appointments with the family and the nurse and prepare the initial paperwork prior to the move in. Prepare the admission paperwork for the Executive Director to review with the families, which includes background check information, dietary forms, pharmacy forms, activity interest sheet, special requests needed, nurse ADL form, billing status, etc. Charged with tracking and accurately documenting all sales and marketing activities by timely entering all data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including detailed information regarding each active prospect complete with the date/time each step is completed and follow-up. Coordinates the move-in for residents, which includes setting the move in date, communicating with the staff on specific details about the resident, and walking the family through the process of getting their loved one in the facility as easily as possible. Do follow-up calls to the family members to check on the resident and to ensure the resident’s continuing needs are being met. Keep up with referral sources and continue to build relationships with other contacts in the community, which may include lunches, trade shows, sending out correspondence, etc. Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities of this job at any time; therefore, this job description is subject to change at any time. Experience and Skills:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business is preferred with a minimum of three (3) years related experience required. Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet. Must meet all healthcare requirements, including Tuberculosis skin test. Five years’ experience in a senior/retirement living setting preferred. Must have current driver’s license. Must have an acceptable driving record and meet all requirements as determined by the Company’s automobile insurance carrier as insurable driver. Must be in positive standing with all healthcare agencies, including the Employment Clearance Registry and Adult Maltreatment Registry. Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are Director of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace. This position is very active and requires frequent traveling, standing/walking, bending/stooping, lifting/handling, pushing/pulling and occasional carrying. Employee must be able to coordinate yes, hands, fingers and feet with each other in response to visual stimuli. The employee must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing up to 50 pounds and the frequency of treatments may vary from resident to resident. Occasionally the feet and legs are used in the motion to release and lock brakes of wheelchairs and beds.
