WHAT YOU WILL DO: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, empowering them to excel in campaign development, execution, and analysisManage the marketing budget across the assigned portfolio, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocationFoster strong relationships and collaboration with studio partners, business stakeholders, and external partners and agenciesCreate and execute strategic marketing plans for titles in the ProbablyMonsters' portfolioConstruct and present a concise and compelling marketing vision for the project and what the customer journey will beAssist in developing IP brand strategy, including both title and team brandingPartner with development teams to conceptualize and define value propositions against competitor's gamesDistill key insights from consumer trends to guide stakeholders with global launch and post-launch marketing planCollaborate with internal teams to create & support global launch and post-launch marketing plansIterate from player feedback, making actionable recommendations to development and other teamsManage specific web, consumer engagement, community team, social marketing initiativesParticipate in the creation of style guides, product packaging, manual content, legal routing, customer service messaging, etcDeliver ongoing marketing analysis, making recommendations on refining strategies and engagementConduct research on the gaming industry and target audience to understand their needs, preferences, and behaviorsExecute first party platform & digital storefronts strategiesWork closely with cross-functional teams such as game designers, developers, artists, and customer support to ensure that the game product meets customer needs and is aligned with company goalsTrack and analyze performance metrics such as sales revenue, customer acquisition cost, and user engagement to evaluate the success of marketing strategies and make adjustments as necessaryManage marketing budgets, allocate resources, and optimize spending to ensure the best return on investmentIdentify and develop partnerships and collaborations with other companies, influencers, or organizations to promote the game product and expand its reachCreate and manage promotional campaigns such as email campaigns, social media advertising, and influencer marketing to increase brand awareness and drive sales as neededCommunicate with stakeholders such as senior management, investors, and partners to provide updates on marketing initiatives and performance metrics as neededParticipate in other cross company marketing initiatives as assigned, such as brand assurances, corporate public relations support, internal user research testing, cross title initiatives, etcQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceExperience leading marketing teams of multiple disciplines10+ years of experience working with large marketing budgetsFull campaign experience launching multiple games on modern consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, PC etc.)PREFERRED SKILLS: Preferred experience working with large, cross-discipline teamsDeep knowledge of video games for PC or console platforms, from indie to AAA blockbusters, Game Pass and PS PlusExpert-level understanding of traditional and digital marketing channelsExceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels and build strong relationships with partnersStrategic thinking, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced and evolving environment.About ProbablyMonsters™ ProbablyMonsters is a AAA independent video game company that aims to change the way games are made.
