Director of Marketing & Business Development . We're seeking an experienced professional to lead business development and marketing for a growing high-end residential landscaping company in Clarksburg, MD. This role focuses on generating high-end residential opportunities, expanding the brand, and driving revenue growth. You'll act as a brand ambassador and collaborate with the leadership team to implement strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
Ideal candidate will be to do marketing and business development; however, marketing-strong candidates without significant business development experience will be considered.
Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business and partnership opportunities Lead and implement marketing campaigns (digital, print, events) Build and manage relationships with prospects, clients, and referral partners Develop content and promotional materials with vendors (photographers, designers, etc.) Oversee digital presence: website, social media, reviews, and analytics Coordinate involvement in networking events, charitable causes, and community outreach Collaborate with divisional leaders on cross-functional marketing and sales strategies Monitor competitor activity and industry trends Qualifications Landscape or similar industry experience, preferably with high-end residential clients--preferred Degree in marketing or a related field--preferred Proven ability to generate leads independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing tools (Canva, Buffer, etc.) Strong communication, creativity, and leadership skills Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 Dental & Health insurance with company contribution 401(k) with company match, after one year of employment Bi-Weekly pay with paid time off Training and career development support Opportunity for growth
