The role involves overseeing the growth and management of an assigned territory. The ideal candidate should be articulate with demonstrated leadership skills, strong relationship management, influencing, vision, and execution capabilities. About the Role Develop relationships with key centers of influence, including banking and affiliate partners, to align referring sources and production resources. Lead and implement a territory growth plan specific to Middle Market P&C and EB businesses. Manage sales pipeline and foster a culture of accountability. Effectively manage P&L responsibilities. Attract, hire, and recruit top talent for Middle Market sales growth. Oversee talent development and mentorship in collaboration with Towne Insurance's Training and Development department. Leverage centers of influence to create strategic partnerships aligned with growth plans. Understand the competitive landscape, including competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and staffing. Monitor activity and results regularly. Build strong relationships with carrier partners to leverage their institutional knowledge. Share best practices with other Market Managing Directors. Prepare and present perpetuation planning 18 months prior to retirement. Partner with Regional Operations Leader to ensure operational compliance. Collaborate with the Director of Sales for Personal Lines and Select. Work with Operations Leader to ensure customer service excellence. Lead by example; actively participate in the local community to enhance the Towne Insurance brand. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Needed Creative thinker with excellent written and oral communication skills. Extensive experience in a senior-level role within an Insurance Carrier or a National/Regional Brokerage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
