Market Director of QA, Risk Management,& Compliance Carrollton Springs is a -bed behavioral hospital located in Carrollton, Texas. The hospital provides a full continuum of care for those suffering from a mental health issue and/or chemical dependency. The Market Director of QA, Risk Management, & Compliance is responsible for the development/administration of Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Staff Development activities of multi-facility market to ensure that all state, federal, TJC standards for care consistently met. Collects and analyzes data on hospital performance, incidents, and documentation to improve hospital performance and ensure provision of quality care. Works closely with all Department Director’s to recommend/provide required staff development and tailored programs based upon data analysis. Monitors, investigates, and as required, reports all hospital incidents. Supervises direct reports across assigned market facilities. Position Details
Monitor the hospitals quality program. Demonstrates an extensive knowledge of all regulatory standards including TJC, Medicaid, state, and federal laws. Advises and informs departments on regulatory standards. Works with hospital employees to identify risk/safety concerns and leads the team to take correction action as needed. Collects and analyzes data on hospital performance. Collects incident reports; records, analyzes, investigates data and reports to Quality Council and CEO. Utilizes the PDCA method to develop improvement plans for the hospital. Ensures hospital meets all regulatory standards and laws. All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in a health related field preferred, or Bachelor’s degree in a health related field with equivalent in a psychiatric hospital. Experience:  Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred. License: If applicable, unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within days.
