As the Manufacturing Operations and Engineering Director , you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic, high-mix, low-volume production environment—driving operational excellence and shaping the future of our complex product portfolio. This is more than a management role; it’s a strategic partnership with the VP of Operations, where your expertise in lean manufacturing and cross-functional collaboration will directly influence our success. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deep experience in manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies to ensure efficient and high-quality production. Ability to collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and sales to align production with product development and market demand, ensuring a seamless flow from design to delivery. Develop and implement new practices that enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs. Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Proficient in using data analytics to monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements. Ensures that manufacturing processes meet the highest quality standards and comply with Bosch and industry regulations. Strong strategic and holistic view of location and operations. Define and implement system for cross training and motivating all levels of production associates. Ensuring the Safety, functionality and appearance characteristics of all products. Adhering to quality management techniques and guidelines: Problem solving, technical statistics, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in applicable technical field 5+ years of leading in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing (BPS), logistics, and modern manufacturing concepts Proven positive associate interactions and soft skill application Team player with ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Logistics basic knowledge, to interface with logistic planning team Standard ISO14001 / OHSAS18001 and other audit knowledge Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels SAP MRP experience; MS Office proficiency Cross-functional leadership
Additional Information
Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $175,200 - $230,600.
