About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Warehouse Lending within its Corporate Mortgage Finance Group. The successful candidate will be a key player in the development of this vertical, acting as a primary contact for understanding and meeting customer needs. This role involves managing a team of Relationship Manager/Bankers, personally originating and maintaining a commercial loan portfolio, and working closely with internal colleagues to foster client relationships. The Managing Director will also be responsible for team management, including the development and implementation of growth strategies, risk oversight, and ensuring that all activities are in line with the company's credit policies.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' experience in mortgage-related asset-backed lending, with a preference for those with over 10 years' experience and a background as a Mortgage Finance Relationship Manager. The role requires a proven track record in business development, a strong network of client relationships, and the ability to lead strategic client dialogue. The Managing Director will be expected to maintain high credit quality standards, lead a team to achieve performance goals, and stay abreast of market and industry trends. Key skills include excellent communication, organization, project management, and the ability to analyze financial statements and make sound credit recommendations. The position demands a professional with a deep understanding of capital markets and the ability to operate effectively in a multi-bank/syndicated credit facility environment.
