Job Overview Managing Director, Value and Risk Advisory at JLL. Join the global network of licensed commercial real estate appraisers delivering valuations with local insights and industry expertise. This role focuses on management of team members, workflow optimization, and delivering superior client outcomes with less time spent on personally completing assignments. You'll complete assignments in commercial real estate valuation and consulting projects involving complex highest and best use scenarios, cash flow estimation using discounted cash flow models, and comparable sales/cost analyses. This position involves originating select work, partnering with leadership to identify targets, and representing the JLL brand through optimism, intelligence, and collaboration while providing advisory services in financing, due diligence, risk analysis, financial reporting, dispute resolutions, and equity offerings.

What your day-to-day will look like Focus on management of team members, workflow optimization, and delivering superior client outcomes Originate select work while partnering with leadership to identify targets and business development opportunities Inspect properties only for tier 1 clients where client interaction benefits business growth and when coaching junior team members Attend at least two local commercial real estate events per year and volunteer for board/leadership/committee positions Represent the JLL brand through optimism, intelligence, and collaboration while providing solutions to complex challenges Partner with and coach analysts at various levels while managing up to four individuals Required Qualifications State certified general appraiser license with minimum 3 years of holding CG license Successfully mastered all Director skillset requirements Mastery of the most complex concepts and assignments within chosen sector Full competency in core skills and beginner competency in project management and/or account management Maintain state licensing for specific geographic focus and pull temporary practice permits when required Ability to sign reports and assist with recruiting team members Preferred Qualifications Continue participation in JLLU focusing on career path alignment, professional skillset, people management, and business development Master Argus competency for national institutional team members Experience with complex highest and best use scenarios and discounted cash flow modeling Background in team management and coaching across multiple organizational levels Active participation in commercial real estate professional organizations Business development and client relationship management experience Base pay range: $1.00/yr - $1.00/yr Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at JLL by 2x.
