About the Role

The Company is seeking a Turnaround & Restructuring (T&R) Managing Director to lead and manage client engagement teams through challenging in-and-out of court turnaround and restructuring situations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the final delivery of analyses, providing guidance on complex restructuring alternatives, and having a deep understanding of credit agreements to best protect the client. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant restructuring or distressed experience in a professional service or consulting firm environment, with a preference for those holding advanced degrees and professional certifications such as CFA, CIRA, or CPA.

The T&R Managing Director will be expected to have a high-energy, flexible, and adaptive style, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include negotiating waivers, forbearances, and amendments to credit agreements, managing project work plans, and overseeing the quality of engagements. The role demands exceptional negotiation skills, the ability to influence change at executive levels, and expertise in risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will be adept at synthesizing complex information, have expert written communication skills, and be a persuasive communicator capable of handling executive and difficult audiences. Extensive travel and the willingness to work long hours, including weekends, are also required.
