About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Sustainable Mobility Center, a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of research and educational programs focused on green, safe, accessible, equitable, and affordable mobility. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty Co-Directors and the Institute Director to create and direct innovative initiatives that have a transformative impact on the global mobility ecosystem. This includes strategic planning, program management, and outreach to ensure that the Center's activities translate into real-world solutions. The role demands a high level of self-direction, initiative, and the ability to build and strengthen the Center both within the academic community and with external partners.
Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' of relevant experience, with a preference for those holding a Ph.D. and having a strong background in the mobility sector. The role requires demonstrated leadership, excellent planning and organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial, organizational, and staff resources. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and motivate diverse constituencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project planning and management, as well as experience in business process improvement. A background in data science, advanced computational modeling, machine learning, and big data analytics is highly valued, particularly in the context of the mobility industry.
