About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing expert guidance to clients facing financial distress, operational challenges, and restructuring. This pivotal role involves leading the development and oversight of financial models, partnering with client personnel to monitor budgets, and identifying and analyzing performance issues to deliver actionable recommendations. The Managing Director will also be responsible for supporting turnaround and restructuring strategies, driving the execution of bankruptcy-related filings, and managing stakeholder engagement and negotiations.
Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred, and 5-8 years' of experience in financial analysis, restructuring, bankruptcy consulting, or turnaround management. A strong understanding of bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring frameworks, and financial modeling is essential, as is experience with 3 statement financials, cash flow analysis, and debt restructuring. The role requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment. Familiarity with bankruptcy code and legal requirements, and the ability to travel up to 50%, are also necessary.
