About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Miami office, with a focus on real estate development and construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of the acquisition and planning process, including land acquisition due diligence, feasibility analysis, and entitlement strategy. This role also involves project and construction management, from concept to completion, and requires a strong background in coordinating with various stakeholders, both internal and external. The Managing Director will be expected to have a solid understanding of construction practices, site logistics, safety standards, and document control, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, with a preference for a civil engineering background. A minimum of 15 years' experience in land development and mixed-use construction, particularly in South Florida, is essential. The role demands a strategic problem solver with the ability to adapt to evolving project conditions and challenges, and proficiency in MS Office Suite and construction/project management documentation workflows. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, and possess excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
