The Tax Managing Director will also be involved in the direct supervision of tax professionals, and must be adept at managing and developing a team, as well as maintaining client relationships.
Applicants for the Tax Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree in accountancy or taxation preferred. A CPA, Attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent certification is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of relevant tax experience, with a strong preference for those with industry expertise in one or more tax specialties. Superior communication, analytical, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team and manage a team of tax professionals. The role also demands an individual with executive presence, capable of acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.
