Join us as a Managing Director in our Accounting Advisory Services team, where you'll play a crucial role in consulting with our clients on intricate accounting transactions. Your expertise will guide engagement teams through challenging technical matters, enhancing business processes along the way. You'll develop strong relationships with clients and your project teams, ensuring that you deliver well-founded advice in a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting multiple engagement teams in providing divestiture solutions, including evaluating readiness for carve-outs, managing 100-day planning, operational transitions, and business separations for financial sponsors and corporate clients.
Assisting with SEC regulatory filings related to carve-outs and preparing the necessary carve-out financial statements.
Staying ahead of market trends to proactively address client needs and offer strategic counsel.
Collaborating with audit teams to assess accounting policies concerning significant or complex matters.
Mentoring and supervising junior colleagues while providing regular feedback to foster their development.
Flexibly working from client sites, the office, or remotely, with a focus on meeting client expectations.
Representing our firm at recruitment and professional networking events.
Enhancing your professional skills through formal training opportunities.
Meeting business development targets for managed revenue, new sales, and cross-selling initiatives.
Performing additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
You should possess: A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
At least twelve years of experience in financial statement audits, accounting advisory services, or transaction advisory consulting, especially within the asset management sector.
An active CPA license.
Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in US GAAP and SEC reporting standards, particularly related to accounting transactions or mergers and acquisitions.
Expert knowledge in areas such as ASC 606/ASC 842, financial instruments, IPO processes, or complex equity and compensation issues.
The ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize effectively.
Experience in generating new business and revenue growth.

Leadership skills that inspire and motivate colleagues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel on short notice, with travel expectations of up to 80%.
The base salary range for this position is between $263,300 and $438,800. Our office locations include New York, NY, and Melville, NY, where you will enjoy a supportive work environment that emphasizes well-being and professional development.
