U.S. General Manager - Marine NavCom Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development and operational launch of the U.S. business.
Secure and manage OEM authorizations and expand partnership agreements beyond existing licenses.
Establish relationships with classification societies, oversee compliance, and manage audit processes.
Hire, onboard, and develop a skilled technical and operational team to support regional growth.
Set up and oversee warehousing, logistics, and supply chain operations in the U.S.
Build a strong customer base through sales initiatives, developing a reliable revenue pipeline.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and in strategic industry engagements across North America.
Manage budgets, resources, and operational tasks to ensure business objectives are met.
Drive profitability, oversee compliance, and ensure operational excellence across all activities.
U.S. General Manager - Marine NavCom Position Requirements
Proven leadership experience in establishing or managing regional operations within the maritime, industrial, or OEM sectors.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic partnership development skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies and execute business plans effectively.
Exceptional team-building and management capabilities, including hiring, training, and leading diverse teams.
Solid understanding of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
Excellent sales, customer development, and market representation skills.
Ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and handle complex initiatives.
Willingness to travel within the U.S. and participate in industry events as required.
U.S. General Manager - Marine NavCom Preferred Position Requirements
Experience working in North American markets.
Knowledge of maritime regulations, compliance, and industry audits.
Previous success in securing OEM certifications and expanding partnership agreements.
Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Industry, or related fields is preferred.
