As a Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within residential construction, land development, and homebuilder finance, leveraging Wedbush’s strong institutional relationships and sector-focused platform. This role offers the opportunity to build and lead the Homebuilders vertical within an established, high-integrity platform. The position is open to candidates across the United States, reporting to offices in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Chicago. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop relationships with public and private homebuilders, land developers, private equity firms, and family offices. Drive M&A transactions, private placements, recapitalizations, and capital advisory engagements in the $25M-$500M range. Build the Homebuilders vertical from the ground up with support from senior leadership. Partner with ECM, DCM, and Research teams to deliver integrated capital markets solutions. Represent Wedbush at industry conferences, publish sector insights, and establish thought leadership in the Homebuilders space. Experience and Skills Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. 10+ years of IB experience with a proven track record in Building Supplies, Industrials, Infrastructure, or related sectors. Current Managing Director or Director in Investment Banking, focused on Homebuilders, Real Estate, or Construction. Experience originating and closing M&A and capital markets transactions in the specified range. Strong client relationships and ability to generate deal flow. Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership aspirations. Deep sector knowledge and passion for the built environment and housing industry. Active Series 79, 63 licenses (required); 24 (preferred). Thrives in results-driven, unbureaucratic environments.
