About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Institutional Sales in the Western region. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and nurturing inclusive partnerships, with a primary focus on institutional investors with $5B+ in investable assets. This role requires a proactive approach to engaging with large institutional asset owners, including public and corporate plans, endowments, foundations, and health systems. The Managing Director will be responsible for strategic marketing initiatives, product innovation, and goal achievement, including meeting or exceeding targets for growth in assets under management and revenue. The role demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of related experience, and active FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) licenses. A strong background in the institutional asset management landscape, particularly with large institutional investors, is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in institutional business development, experience in public and private markets, and a client-oriented focus. Skills that will set candidates apart include a CFA and/or MBA, NFA licensing, and the ability to execute a well-developed business plan. The role also requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and close sales in high-pressure situations.
