About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Technology Risk Oversight, Managing Director to join their Enterprise Technology Risk Management (ETRM) organization. The successful candidate will be a seasoned Technology Risk Leader with over 15 years of experience in the financial services and/or technology industry, and will be responsible for thought leadership, oversight, monitoring, and advisement on the discovery and remediation of technology and cyber risks. This role requires expertise in identifying, managing, and monitoring technology risks across various domains, including technology resiliency, change management, obsolescence, IT asset management, and third-party risks. The Head of Technology Risk Oversight will also be expected to interact with senior-level executives in IT and lead a team of ETRM technology risk professionals, providing second-line of defense services to the global technology services first-line organization.

Candidates for this position should have a strong background in technology risk, controls, and compliance, with a focus on aligning business and technology risk to support effective decision-making. The role involves leading key technology risk assessments, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring the effective implementation of risk management policies and standards. Experience with regulatory exams, as well as a background in cyber and information security, cloud risk management, and enterprise architecture, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and drive the implementation of risk management decisions. Advanced degrees in a technology discipline or equivalent, along with relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, TOGAF, or CCSK, are appreciated but not mandatory.
