We’re looking for a Managing Director to lead and grow the furniture division of DreamSeat . If you’re creative, collaborative, and ready to drive results, this is your moment. In this newly created role, you’ll work alongside our entrepreneurial CEO to continue to grow the furniture side of the business that has been taking off and is ready for a leader of its own!While we prefer you to work from our Landrum, SC, location, we’re open to you working from our East Northport, NY, Lenexa, KS, or Grand Rapids, MI locations. What you’ll do As Managing Director, you’ll lead the strategic and day-to-day direction of the furniture side of our business. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with a talented team, you’ll be responsible for: Leading the division’s sales, marketing, and vendor strategy Managing and mentoring the team Overseeing vendor relationships—stepping in when challenges arise Being creative and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and expand into new markets Collaborate with leadership to shape the future of the business Take ownership of your team’s results and performance Who You Are Creative, strategic, and hands-on Confident in leading a team and holding vendors accountable Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves Passionate about driving results and doing things the right way Energized by working with creative, driven people What you need to thrive in this role Experience leading or managing in the furniture industry (contract furniture, retail, manufacturing, or related) Strong knowledge of sales, product marketing, and vendor relations Experience managing teams and budgets Excellent communication and leadership skills, creative with an entrepreneurial mindset Prior success in a high-growth or founder-led company Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment About us Being a family-owned company, DreamSeat’s corporate culture is built on trust, loyalty and relationships.
