About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Front Office Credit Risk, Managing Director to join their Risk and FRM team. This role is pivotal in managing credit, market, and model risk as the first line of defense across the business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a global team of credit analysts, providing key input into product expansions, and negotiating client-facing credit terms. A strong background in traditional counterparty credit analysis, detailed trading product knowledge, and a collaborative leadership approach are essential. The role also involves internal and external collaboration, including with various trading desks, management, enterprise risk management, global treasury, clients, and regulators.

Candidates for this role at the company should have a Master's degree in an economics or business-related field, with a preference for a professional designation such as CFA or FRM. A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in counterparty credit risk, particularly in securities lending, prime brokerage, and OTC derivatives including FX, is required. The role demands a strong risk management and control focus, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts. The Head of Front Office Credit Risk will also be expected to respond to counterparty stress situations, lead crisis simulation exercises, and represent the front office credit risk in global business-wide meetings.
