Managing Director – Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) Business Unit

At Sia, we empower senior leaders to drive complex transformations, shape industry trends, and grow thriving practices. As a Managing Director in our Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) Business Unit (BU), you’ll play a critical role in expanding our footprint in North America while delivering next‑generation solutions to financial institutions, reshaping the industry.
Responsibilities
Sia’s Managing Directors (MDs) are pivotal leaders who drive strategic direction, accelerate business growth, lead client delivery, and mentor next‑generation leaders. Responsibilities include:
Lead client delivery, maintain active billability, contribute to revenue through hands‑on engagement.
Drive substantial revenue growth, oversee business development and go‑to‑market strategy.
Originate new business annually through proactive client acquisition and relationship expansion.
Manage annual revenue, oversee existing client engagements and strategic account management.
Provide strategic direction, mentorship to client engagement teams and internal development teams.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Attract, develop, and retain top talent through coaching and performance management.
Qualifications
Currently based in the Chicago area, with an extensive local network of buyers within the Asset Management segment of Financial Services.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven ability to lead sales/business development efforts and mature client relationships.
Proven record of generating new clients and consulting delivery.
9+ years of consulting experience, with a focus on Financial Services and Asset Management.
Passionate about providing guidance and coaching delivery teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Range: $180,000–$250,000 per year (base salary only). Additional compensation includes personal sales bonus (uncapped) and discretionary bonus opportunities aligned with objectives.
