About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations to lead the development and execution of fundraising strategies that focus on securing significant financial support from various philanthropic sources. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporations, private and community foundations, and local philanthropies, ensuring that funding opportunities align with the organization's mission and priorities. This role requires a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven track record in securing six- and seven-figure grants and partnerships. The Managing Director will also be involved in representing the organization at relevant events, supervising fundraising staff, and working closely with internal teams to gather information for proposals and reports.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' of experience in fundraising, with a focus on corporate, foundation, and philanthropic giving. The role demands exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills, as well as strong project management abilities. Proficiency in donor management databases and prospect research tools is essential. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, team-oriented leader with a passion for the organization's mission, a results-driven approach, and a commitment to advancing its strategic goals.
