About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Consumer and Community Banking Treasury Deposits. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation in research strategy and financial reporting, with a strong focus on liquidity and interest rate risk. This role involves crafting a strategic vision and roadmap that delivers tangible benefits to the consumer and community banking and treasury and chief investment office. The Managing Director will oversee the balance sheet management of a significant retail deposit portfolio, lead a team of experienced professionals, and collaborate with key stakeholders to shape the future of the balance sheet.

Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in treasury or the finance/banking industry, with a proven track record of delivering results in a large and networked organization. The role requires an intellectual leader with the technical depth to guide quants in various financial areas and a strong commitment to end-user-focused design. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to lead senior-level discussions and produce executive-level materials. A seasoned organizational leader, the ideal candidate will be adept at developing a vision and leading a team of experienced professionals. Preferred qualifications include deep knowledge of retail deposits, macroeconomics, rates, interest rate risk, and a technically focused advanced degree.
