About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Commercial Banking with a focus on Commercial Real Estate (CRE). This top-level leadership role is pivotal in executing the division's strategic plan, meeting annual growth and customer retention targets, and guiding the team in business development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying target markets, establishing a new book of business, and maintaining customer relationships. Key responsibilities include negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of major and complex corporate banking loans, as well as developing business checking and deposit relationships. The role also involves supporting the Head of Institutional Commercial Real Estate, compiling and analyzing market research data, and representing the company in various functions to enhance its image and develop additional business.
Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of related experience, with a strong background in commercial banking and real estate. The role requires a candidate with a basic lending background, including experience in negotiating, underwriting, and closing a variety of commercial loans, and a proven track record in relationship development within the financial services industry. Extensive knowledge of financial industry status and trends, as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills, are essential.
