Maintenance Director Responsibilities:

Oversee daily maintenance operations, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for healthcare facilities

Manage maintenance staff, schedules, and work assignments

Maintain systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and services

Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure a safe and efficient facility

Maintenance Director Qualifications:

Previous experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting

Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations

Proven leadership and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus
