POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Director leads the maintenance team inensuring that our grounds exceed the expectations of our patients and theirfamilies while they are in our care. This position plays a key role in theoverall presentation of our center. DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the overall safety, appearance andmaintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, Stateand Local requirements at all times Supervises/Monitors work of department supervisors/personnel Establishes an effective preventativemaintenance program and a priority system for unscheduled maintenance Ensure that safety committee meetings are heldregularly, with complete and accurate documentation QUALIFICATIONS &REQUIREMENTS: Must have at minimum a High School Diploma orequivalent G.E.D Minimum of 3 years diverse construction ormaintenance related experience in a supervisory capacity Must be knowledgeable various mechanical,electrical and plumbing systems; HVAC certification a plus but not required Must have knowledge of building codes and safetyregulations Maintenance experience in long term carestrongly preferred
