We're looking for a hands-on Director of Plant Operations to oversee maintenance and housekeeping at our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Alpharetta, GA . This is not a desk job - it's a leadership role for someone who leads by doing, supports their team, and takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and functional environment for residents and staff alike. What You'll Do: Be the go-to problem solver for all things maintenance-HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, and more

Work alongside your team to keep apartments, equipment, and common areas in top shape

Conduct regular walk-throughs and safety checks to identify and address issues proactively

Schedule and oversee vendors, contractors, and inspections

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire codes, SDS, and other local/state regulations

Supervise and support the housekeeping and maintenance team, including hiring, training, and scheduling

Keep accurate records, maintain inventory, and manage work order priorities

Lead by example-whether that's painting a wall, clearing a walkway, or troubleshooting equipment

What We're Looking For: A true working leader who's comfortable managing people and jumping into the job

High school diploma required; trade school or technical degree preferred

3+ years of maintenance experience (preferably in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare)

Strong knowledge of building systems, safety protocols, and repair work

Able to lift, climb, paint, and perform physical tasks as needed

Solid communication skills and a commitment to resident satisfaction
