Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Durham, NC for a Maintenance Director. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the facility, managing carpentry, and ensuring the effective operation of facility management. Daily tasks include supervising maintenance teams, coordinating maintenance projects, managing facility budgets, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. The Maintenance Director plays a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
Supervisory Skills and Maintenance Management experience
Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Carpentry
Experience in Facility Management (FM) and Maintenance Management
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred
Experience in a retirement or healthcare setting is a plus
