An opportunity is available for an experienced retail/mail order pharmacy technician to fill an immediate opening with a well-established pharmacy setting. This 13-week contract position offers the potential for contract to hire based on performance and fit, providing a pathway for long-term employment.

Location: Peoria, AZ
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including high-volume data entry and prescription dispensing with a focus on mail order delivery and some walk-in customers.
• Maintain a steady work pace to meet the demands of a fast-moving environment.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills to support a collaborative workplace.
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and assisting with operational needs.
• Stand throughout the shift in a high-volume setting while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

• Recent experience (within the last year) working in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Licensing as an Arizona Pharmacy Technician (AZ tech license) and PTCB certification is mandatory.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing must be clearly indicated on the resume, even if minimal.
• Software proficiency in QS1 is highly preferred but not strictly required.
• Dependability with punctual attendance and a positive, professional attitude.
