M SEARCH is proud to represent a leading nonprofit on this exciting opportunity. We are partnering with a mission-driven organization based in Miami, FL to find a dynamic and strategic Director of Marketing to lead brand strategy and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth, increase awareness, and support meaningful community impact.
This leader will report to the CMO and oversee all marketing functions, including advertising, creative direction, digital and content strategy, and multicultural marketing: ensuring alignment across all major areas of the organization, including retail, mission services, philanthropy, and contracts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in customer-centric storytelling and a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams (2 direct reports).
This role reports to their Miami office 4x and 1 remote day per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of your choosing).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive engagement and revenue.
Lead planning, budgeting, and performance tracking for the marketing function.
Align marketing plans with evolving market trends and internal priorities.
Brand & Content Strategy
Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all marketing channels.
Implement a customer-focused content strategy tailored to diverse audiences.
Create messaging and storytelling that positions the customer as the hero.
Multicultural Marketing & Customer Insights
Lead culturally relevant marketing efforts, particularly targeting Hispanic and other underrepresented communities.
Translate customer insights and behavioral data into actionable campaigns.
Conduct segmentation and market research to guide strategy.
Creative Direction
Manage and mentor an internal creative team, including designers and content creators.
Provide hands-on creative direction, copywriting, and campaign oversight.
Oversee all marketing assets across digital, print, and in-store channels.
Digital & Traditional Marketing
Lead digital marketing initiatives including social media, paid media, and email marketing.
Manage traditional media, signage, and local events.
Leverage analytics to drive campaign performance and optimization.
Build, coach, and inspire a collaborative and results-driven team.
Foster a high-performance and mission-aligned culture.
Performance Measurement
Define and track KPIs to demonstrate marketing effectiveness.
Report impact and insights to leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
At least 8+ years in a marketing leadership role, ideally with experience in an agency or consulting setting.
Track record of driving brand growth and executing innovative campaigns.
Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Experience working in a resourceful, fast-paced environment.
