Position Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking Director of Social Media, Influencer and Content Marketing to lead our digital content and social media practice. This strategic role will drive innovation in content strategy, social media, and creator partnerships while ensuring cultural relevance and authenticity across Hispanic and total market initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in content creation, social media, and digital storytelling with strong cultural understanding and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This is a client-facing position where you will have a leading role in representing the department, participating in key strategic and tactical meetings, including internal brainstorming and creative sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
Develop and execute comprehensive content and social media strategies aligned with client objectives across Hispanic and total market assignments
Lead the ideation and implementation of innovative content, social media, and influencer/creator campaigns that resonate with diverse audience segments
Create and maintain editorial calendars and content frameworks across all digital channels
Forecast and adapt to emerging content, social media trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors
Drive the integration of AI and automated solutions in content creation, campaign optimization, and audience targeting
Establish and evolve content and social media best practices, guidelines, and standards as platforms and technologies advance
Transform our "Latino Network of Creators" into a premium client-facing service that leverages emerging technologies and creator economy trends
Develop and maintain the agency's thought leadership position in digital content and social media innovation
Collaborate with our in-house production studio to develop innovative content creation models that maximize studio capabilities while meeting modern content demands
Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities through strategic use of our production facilities for client content needs
Drive the integration of traditional production excellence with modern digital content requirements
Content Strategy & Development
Lead the development of multi-channel content strategies that drive engagement and conversion
Oversee the creation of compelling, culturally relevant content across all digital platforms
Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and storytelling across all channels
Drive content localization and adaptation strategies for Hispanic market segments
Implement data-driven content optimization frameworks
Partner with our production studio to create efficient workflows for high-quality content creation at scale
Develop innovative approaches to adapt professional studio production capabilities for social-first content
Create frameworks for rapid content production that maintain quality while meeting platform-specific requirements
Design content packages that leverage our studio capabilities for multiple platform deliverables
Guide the evolution of traditional production processes to meet the speed and flexibility demands of digital content
Technology & Platform Expertise
Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and new features across all major social networks
Evaluate and implement emerging content creation and social media tools
Have an understanding of AI-powered solutions for content creation, optimization, and analytics
Guide the integration of professional production equipment and workflows with platform-specific content requirements
Identify opportunities to leverage studio capabilities for emerging content formats
Develop solutions for adapting high-end production assets for social media use
Performance & Analytics
Establish advanced KPIs and measurement frameworks for content and social media initiatives
Implement predictive analytics and AI-driven insights for content and campaign optimization
Oversee social listening and community management efforts
Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise and deep understanding of the U.S. Hispanic market, including cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and media consumption patterns
8+ years of combined content strategy and social media experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven track record developing successful content strategies and social media campaigns
Experience working with Hispanic/multicultural audiences and markets
Experience bridging traditional production processes with modern content creation needs
Understanding of professional production workflows and how to adapt them for digital content
Track record of developing innovative content production models
Technical Expertise
Hands-on experience with content management and campaign deployment in:
Meta Business Manager (campaign setup, audience targeting, optimization, reporting)
TikTok Business Center (content strategy, ad creation, performance optimization)
X Ads Manager (campaign management, targeting, analytics)
YouTube Studio and Google Ads (video optimization, audience development)
LinkedIn Campaign Manager (B2B targeting, content strategy)

Demonstrated proficiency in:
