Interim RN Director Location:  Akron, OH Shifts:  7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week) Pay:  $79.00/hr - $3,160/wk

The RN Director is responsible for managing patient throughput, nursing staffing, and resource coordination across various hospital departments, including the Regional Float Pool, Companion Float Pool, and Clinical Decision Unit. The position also oversees off-shift nursing supervision and overall nursing operations logistics.

RN Director Key Responsibilities: Collaborates with Call Center and nursing teams to optimize patient flow. Supervises staffing office, administrative supervisors, and multiple nursing units. Leads interdisciplinary teams to implement change and process improvements. Oversees key operations such as scheduling, acuity management, productivity tracking, and payroll. Ensures high-quality, cost-effective, evidence-based patient care aligned with corporate strategies. Coaches and supports staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork. RN Director Requirements: Education: BSN and MSN (or Master's in Business/Healthcare); nursing degree from an accredited institution; Ohio RN license. Experience: 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory/management roles in acute care settings. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and team collaboration skills; proficiency in systems management. Active BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
