Lincoln South Gate UMC hiring a director of music

8/13/2025 South Gate United Methodist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking a part-time Director of Music (up to 20 hours/week) to lead our vibrant music ministry. This position includes serving as organist/pianist forSundayworship and special services, directing and accompanying our adultmen'schoir, children’s choir, and handbell choir, and coordinating all aspects of our music program. The ideal candidate will have experience in choir direction, accompaniment, and conducting—including work with handbells and children’s music—along with strong organizational and leadership skills. A bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field is preferred.
