Overview Lifestyle Director manages all aspects of the Concierge Department, attends to the needs of permanent residents and assists with employee relations. Provides information to resident inquiries, plans and executes resident events, coordinates bookings of private event space, and maintains resident information in the property management system, including preferences, birthdays, and key family contacts. Partners with the Residences Manager to plan employee celebrations including monthly birthdays, anniversaries, and the Shooting/Shining Star ceremony. The Lifestyle Director acts as an ambassador to engage with vendors and partners to obtain special privileges for residents and collaborates with other departments to enhance the resident experience and uphold the property’s reputation for excellence.

Position Type Full-Time, Flexible Schedule
Schedule Varies based on business needs; typically, Monday and Tuesday off, but must be available for events and to oversee resident reservations of private event spaces. Must be available to act as Manager on Duty when the Residences Manager is off.
Work Environment Concierge Desk, lobby, common elements, office areas and private residential units. Job involves working under variable temperature and noise levels, outdoors/indoors, around fumes, dust, chemicals, and other related conditions.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the Concierge Department and assist with resident relations and employee relations.
Provide information to resident inquiries, plan and execute resident events, and coordinate bookings of private event space for residents.
Coordinate resident requests for special arrangements or services; create monthly newsletters and collateral for resident events; update resident information in the property management system.
Partner with the Residences Manager to plan employee celebrations (monthly birthdays, anniversaries, and the Shooting/Shining Star ceremony).
Collaborate with other departments to enhance the resident experience and maintain the property’s reputation for excellence.
Attend South Florida Concierge Association events and share insights with the management team.
Access and utilize all designated computer systems according to department specifications and manage vendor relations for exclusive offers.
Coordinate and oversee all resident private event space bookings and assist with event promotions and collateral.
Create recommendation guides and resident service resources; ensure timely follow-up and communication with residents, vendors, and internal departments.
Qualifications Essential
High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
Fluency in English (verbal and non-verbal).
Strong communication with reliable follow-up; compute basic arithmetic.
One year of experience in a similar position at a 5-star property or equivalent luxury residence.
Ability to input and access information in a property management system/computers.
Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; time management; calm and sound judgment; follow directions; anticipate and fulfill service needs.
Ability to work with a positive attitude and collaboratively with coworkers; maintain confidentiality of resident information and property data.
Provide genuine, caring, and impeccable customer service with a polished demeanor.
Demonstrate integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Desirable
College degree or formal hospitality training.
Previous concierge experience in a luxury market and supervisory experience in a luxury hotel/resort.
Second or third language proficiency (Spanish, Russian, Portuguese preferred).
Knowledge of local attractions, services, and vendors.
Physical Abilities
Frequent standing and walking; endure various physical movements; reach overhead up to 30 inches.
Remain stationary for up to 8 hours; lift up to 60 pounds; occasional kneeling, pushing/pulling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
Communicate clearly with owners, management, and coworkers; maintain safety and awareness of surroundings.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and standards; keep resident profiles updated in BuildingLink.
Understand operation of building amenities and services; monitor and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Anticipate and fulfill residents’ needs; resolve complaints; maintain positive resident relations.
Coordinate resident activities, manage budgets for concierge services, and distribute monthly newsletters; obtain required approvals for events.
Oversee private event space bookings, coordinate with departments, and promote events.
Prepare exclusive use event forms and obtain Board approvals as needed.
Manage deposits, COIs, licenses, permits, guest lists, and staffing needs.
Conduct pre-event walkthroughs and act as on-site contact during events.
Complete post-event follow-ups and reimburse deposits.
Coordinate resident service requests across offerings (catering, transportation, pet services, childcare, travel, dining, body services, etc.).
Develop relationships with local vendors and broker exclusive offers for Mansion residents.
Promote sustainability initiatives as part of the team’s responsibilities.
Other Note: Other job-related duties and special event permits may be required as needed.
