*Job Responsibilities:*
As a *Funeral Director*, you will play a key role in helping families navigate the funeral planning process with dignity and care. Your responsibilities will include:
* *Providing exceptional compassionate service* to families by guiding them through funeral arrangements and final wishes.
* *Coordinating and directing* funeral services, celebrations, visitations, memorials, and burials.
* *Handling legal and administrative tasks* such as filing death certificates, obtaining permits, and coordinating with clergy, cemeteries, and other service providers.
* *Ensuring seamless operations* by overseeing transportation, embalming (if applicable), and proper care of the deceased.
* *Offering grief support* and ongoing assistance to families before, during, and after services.
* *Maintaining compliance* with all state and federal laws, industry regulations, and funeral home policies.
* *Participating in community outreach* to strengthen Heartlight Funeral Services' commitment to service beyond the funeral.
*Qualifications:*
* *Licensed Funeral Director* in Utah (or ability to obtain licensure).
* *Experience in funeral directing* and arranging services preferred.
* Strong *communication, organizational, and problem-solving* skills.
* A compassionate, professional demeanor and the ability to provide comfort to grieving families.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.
* Proficiency in funeral service software, Microsoft Office, and general administrative tasks.
* A valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
