Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding families through the funeral process, providing bereavement support, and ensuring that all services are conducted with dignity and respect. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as expertise in event planning and funeral directing. ( Ideal Candidate would have 2 + years experience)

Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including transportation, preparation, and final disposition of the deceased. * Arrange, coordinate, and direct funerals and memorial ceremonies * Embalm and prepare bodies for viewing by performing necessary sanitation, cosmetology, and dissection tasks. * Communicate effectively with families to understand their needs and preferences while providing exceptional customer service. * Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal requirements. * Collaborate with staff to ensure a clean and respectful environment within the funeral home. * Cremate and Process Cremated Remains
Qualifications
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a part of a team * Comfortable learning and utilizing computer software. * Strong customer service skills to effectively support grieving families. * Event planning experience to coordinate various aspects of funeral services seamlessly. * Organization Skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Familiarity with sanitation practices relevant to the funeral industry is important. * Cosmetology skills are a plus for preparing the deceased for viewings. * A compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills is crucial for this role. * Cremation Certified (Preferred) .
