Licensed Dental Assistant / Orthodontic Assistant

We are hiring a Licensed Dental Assistant / Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed)
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• MN Dental Assistant License
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and dental software skills

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day
• Manual dexterity required
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (occasionally more in patient-care situations)
