As the Lead Director of Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) insights and program management, you are in a pivotal role that will leverage internal and external workforce data, business-relevant trends, employee performance, and engagement insights to drive strategic workforce planning efforts. You will partner closely with our HR and enterprise analytics teams, along with external partners, to design and develop the necessary reporting and analytics that will produce critical insights into how business leaders meet their strategic goals through talent. You will be a key partner to our SWP strategic partners, senior business leaders and our HR business partners, providing strategic recommendations to enhance and develop initiatives. Additionally, you will be accountable for designing, developing and maintaining the processes, tools, resources and templates that the SWP team and leaders will utilize to assess and action plan. This role reports to the AVP, Strategic Workforce Planning.
In this role, you will be accountable to:
Utilize data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from workforce data, including employee performance, engagement, and retention rates.
Leverage data-driven insights to proactively influence BU talent strategies in partnership with the SWP partner and HR Business Partners.
Create reports and presentations to communicate key insights and recommendations to the business and HR leaders.
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of workforce initiatives. Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
Develop the foundational approach to analysis for SWP and partner with key stakeholders to develop the tools and resources needed to support the enterprise.
Contribute to the formulation of the enterprise workforce strategy based on data findings, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
Partner with cross-functional teams including HRBPs, HR COEs, HR Reporting & Analytics, and HR technology to ensure alignment of workforce strategies with broader organizational objectives.
Expand the reach of proactive data utilization and analysis for business leaders and the HRBP community.Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve strategic workforce practices.
Required Qualitifications:
10+ years of experience in workforce and talent strategy planning, analytics or related areas
1+ year of experience in research or analysis, using data to identify insights for the business
Willingness to travel (up to 10%) based on business needs; including air plane travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to analyze raw data sets and glean insights to tell a story leveraging data visualization techniques
Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective talent management strategies
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including HR, IT, and business leaders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner
Ability to understand industry trends and best practices in talent management
Proven ability to adapt to evolving business needs, technological advancements, and changes in the talent management landscape
A master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
