We need a hands-on and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll provide essential first-line technical support, maintain company hardware and assets, and assist with IT projects that support both our local facility and our global Digital & IT team. Brings a strong customer-service mindset and communicates clearly with employees at all levels. Is comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues. Can manage multiple tasks while keeping accurate documentation and asset records. Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative IT team. Is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to continuous improvement. Is willing to provide occasional remote support to other company locations. Job Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support for end users, including troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and software applications. Deliver endpoint support, including setup, configuration, updates, and maintenance. Register new assets and maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment. Manage hardware lifecycle processes: deployment, replacement, and decommissioning. Perform onsite troubleshooting and technical support at the Idaho Falls location. Assist with local IT projects such as workstation upgrades, hardware rollouts, and infrastructure improvements. Collaborate with the global Digital & IT team and with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) on escalated issues and strategic initiatives. Provide remote technical support for the Caldwell/WA group as needed. Document support activities, solutions, procedures, and asset changes in the ticketing system. Maintain a courteous, customer-focused mindset when supporting employees. Follow all shop safety practices. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend frequently throughout the workday. Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Desired Education and Experience Completed education in Information Technology or a related technical field; associate degree in IT preferred. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A+. Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments. Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, endpoint support, and standard IT service management practices. Familiarity with ticketing systems and documenting technical issues and resolutions.
