Location: MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center Weeks: 13 weeks with option to extend Hours: 40 hours Pay: $5100.00 gross weekly ($3800.00 gross weekly plus tax free stipend of $1300.00 if live 60+ miles from facility) This is a non-benefited position What you will need: Current Registered Nurse License to practice in State of Iowa Minimum of 5 years of OR Director experience. Regional Director experience Bachelor Degree required, Masters preferred. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification CNOR Certification Position Purpose: Provides leadership, accountability and responsibility for the entire scope of Perioperative Services for MercyOne Medical Center, MercyOne West Des Moines, Centerville, and Newton. Operational responsibilities include budgeting, strategic planning, patient care management and integration and achieve organizational goals. Acts as a role model and change agent by initiating and accepting changes for improved patient care and cost reductions. Maintains active communication and collaborates with senior leadership, physicians, leaders, and staff to meet specialty, departmental and organizational goals.
