The Position An Interim Director Of Nursing is needed to lead operations at one of Georgia's largest long-term care facilities, with 350 beds and growing. Reporting to the Vice President, this leader will oversee 235-250 FTEs. Key responsibilities include mentoring nursing leadership, fostering a more cohesive and collaborative culture, ensuring operational and regulatory compliance, and providing steady leadership during a period of organizational transition. The ideal candidate will bring deep clinical knowledgeparticularly in long-term care and acute overflow environmentsalong with strong leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, and a proven track record of building trust. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements BSN required; Master's degree preferred. Registered Nurse license in Georgia or a compact state required. Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care required. Previous experience in long-term care leadership, preferably in large, complex environments highly preferred.
