About the Role
The Company is in search of an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to take on an Executive Director role with a focus on professional liability lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the renewal process of various insurance policies, including business unit-specific professional liability programs and corporate/global programs. This role also involves managing a direct report, coordinating and submitting data for renewal applications, engaging with stakeholders, and overseeing the claims and settlements process. Additionally, the Executive Director will be involved in M&A due diligence, policy audits, and ensuring compliance with insurance standards. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in risk and insurance management or the insurance industry, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Professional designations such as ARM or CPCU are preferred, or a commitment to obtain them. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset, comfortable working under tight deadlines, and adept at managing multiple projects. The role requires a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to maintain and analyze data on policy coverage, premiums, and claims status. The company values diversity, inclusion, and a commitment to excellence, and is an equal opportunity employer.
