INSURANCE BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT DIRECTOR Join the State of Tennessee as an Insurance Business Process Improvement Director. The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Insurance Division, regulates over 2,000 licensed entities and 350,000 licensed agents. Job Overview The Insurance Business Process Improvement Director liaises between the Insurance Division, other Department Divisions, and other state Departments to ensure efficiencies and identify problems and opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Attend divisional staff meetings. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to implement best practices. Leverage current technology to improve efficiency and business processes. Coordinate and produce certain required internal and external reports. Collaborate with software vendors to resolve software issues. Perform certain audit functions. Oversee the implementation of new systems. Ensure process changes are documented through a formal change control process. Establish proficiency in software applications used by Divisional staff. Special projects as determined by the Assistant Commissioner. Minimum Qualifications Preferred candidates will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional written and oral communications and interpersonal relations. Two or more years of professional administrative or project coordination experience is preferred.
