Job Summary:

The Installation and Service Director has the opportunity to shape this departments future. Primary responsibilities involve quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. Your scope will include managing two Install Coordinators, and manage employees that provide fleet maintenance, coordinate job scheduling, and job estimates. The Director will frequently consult with customers, and other departments to achieve successful installations.

Responsibilities -

You will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for department P&Ls, budgets, and job profitability. Work closely with Coordinators on installation and service jobs schedules. Collaborate with your team to verify work orders and drawings for accuracy. Ensure that the team has the necessary parts, materials, and equipment to complete the job. Review projects in progress and establish installation priorities. Provide technical installation support and oversee the vehicle fleet. Oversee the accuracy of estimates.

Customer Service responsibilities include addressing complaints and providing solutions. Perform quality control inspections on larger installations. Stay current of new industry products, materials, and techniques. Promote and sell Lighted Signs Services.

  • 15 + years of Sign industry knowledge
  • Construction Knowledge

  • Strong Management Skills
  • Electrical Knowledge
  • Strong Math/Engineering abilities (wind load, concrete, tensile strength)

Education and Experience - Bachelors degree preferred but not required. Minimum of five years experience in construction and customer service. Able to read blueprints. Fleet maintenance experience helpful. Management experience required.
