What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead go‑to‑market strategy for FINS, collaborating across Distribution, Marketing, Programs, Enablement, Solutions and Product.
  • Build strong, long‑term partnerships with key clients, deepening understanding of industry dynamics and coordinating execution of the GTM strategy.
  • Deliver client solutions that solve problems, create outcomes, and articulate Salesforce value in the market.

What We Are Looking For

  • Industry expertise: Deep knowledge of business processes and economics in the FINS vertical.
  • Sales acumen: Proven ability to contribute to the ACV engine through new logos, complex deals, and simplification of solutions.
  • Executive presence: Establish trust with executives to secure short‑term wins and long‑term partnerships.
  • Analytical muscle: Identify industry needs, anticipate external impacts, and inform long‑term sales potential.
  • Execution excellence: Program‑management and communication skills that enable cross‑functional delivery of outcomes.
  • Curiosity: Break down complex problems, ask questions, learn quickly and adjust to move forward.

Responsibilities

  • Customer engagement: Work directly with key clients across banking and wealth, providing industry insight, structured problem solving, and executive presence.
  • Executive relationships: Win trust of executives to obtain short‑term sales wins and long‑term partnerships.
  • Market intelligence: Analyze internal and external data, generating viewpoints on market trends and opportunities to inform Salesforce strategy.
  • Go‑to‑market strategy and planning: Anticipate implications of industry trends to account strategy and client decision‑making.
  • Industry solution enablement: Influence solution creation to educate and enable sales teams to speak the customer’s language.
  • Account collaboration: Engage key partners on targeted accounts and regional strategies aligned with overall strategy.
  • Voice of Salesforce to the industry: Present executive roundtables and industry event presentations.

Experience and Skills Required

  • 15+ years in Sales, Leadership, Product Marketing, Enablement, Operations or similar functions in a Fortune 500 or professional services firm.
  • Deep Wealth/Finance/Banking expertise with sub‑vertical viewpoints.
  • Experience deploying or using Salesforce with vision for industry change.
  • Consistent record of building and running robust teams.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self‑starter capable of multitasking in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Strong customer orientation and results‑driven leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce products.
  • Problem‑solving and analytical skills; structured hypothesis development and solution presentation.

Experience and Skills Desired

  • 10+ years of banking or wealth experience.
  • 10+ years of high‑tech company experience or large system integrators supporting the above industries.
  • Undergraduate degree, advanced degree preferred.
  • Hands‑on leader, “get it done” operating style and industry association participant.
  • Travel availability.

  • Proven ability to lead digital transformation and large‑scale change management.
  • Influence across broad spectrum of individuals and functions.
  • Data analysis for value‑based discussions.
