Your Role:
We are in search of a Director of Digital Music to play a key role in shaping the future of digital audio.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the VP of Digital Radio to oversee programming for over 200 streaming stations, ensuring engaging and fresh content that aligns with our brand.
Assist the programming team in managing audio, music, and rotations across a wide array of music and talk-based formats.
Implement programming strategies aimed at increasing audience engagement and driving revenue in the streaming landscape.
Analyze research data to support informed music selection and decisions.
Work with teams to develop station branding, sonic imaging, and visual identity.
Identify emerging music trends to inspire new concepts.
Support the playlisting team with curation across diverse genres, moods, and eras.
Qualifications:
Over 5 years of experience in medium to large market radio programming with a focus on music strategy, scheduling, and curation.
At least 3 years of experience with music scheduling software (GSelector preferred).
Minimum 3 years of proficiency with radio audio playout software (S+ and NexGen preferred).
Expertise in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to curate playlists and song collections.
Proficiency in Excel is a plus.
Familiarity with audio editing software is advantageous.
Experience with DSP playlist strategies and curation methods is a plus.
Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects accurately and efficiently with attention to detail.
Compensation:
Salary determined by various factors including experience, skills, and market alignment. Expected range is $30.77 - $38.46 per hour.
