We currently have an opening for a Director of Operations to support our Florida Market in Winter Park, FL . Responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight of daily operations, team member development, customer service, facility management, and financial performance across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, multi-dimensional thinking, strong organizational skills, and a desire to be a change agent.
Responsibilities: Implement and maintain company initiatives such as performance management, team engagement, compliance, and special projects.
Complete required training, including OSHA, FTC, and harassment prevention compliance.
Ensure location inspections are completed to maintain building and grounds, including landscaping, painting, parking, fleet, and equipment.
Manage financial components like budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, labor, revenue, and EBITDA.
Lead monthly and quarterly financial and business reviews with leaders and teams.
Support department initiatives through regular communication with finance, HR, operations, and IT teams.
Promote employee safety and health by identifying opportunities and weaknesses.
Oversee employee relations, staffing, and performance management.
Communicate performance areas needing improvement.
Manage labor components such as scheduling, overtime, and timecards.
Requirements & Qualifications: Strong communication, relationship skills, and emotional intelligence.
Licensed Funeral Director (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years management experience.
Valid driver’s license with a good record.
Proficiency in MS Office and online portals.
